This Week in Posivibes: Little Simz

By

When Kendrick Lamar says you “might be the illest doing it now,” people take note, not that Little Simz necessarily needs the help—her debut A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons is full of tracks that get you instantly hooked and wanting to know what Simz has to say. Since the age of ten Simz has been honing her craft, listening to greats like Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, and Dizzee Rascal as she worked hard to build a recording apparatus in her bedroom when denied studio time in her teens. Read more about the artist and her record label, Age 101, via a recent Pitchfork interview, and watch the video for her song “Intervention” after the jump.
