Debut Album from The Unspeakable Practices

The Unspeakable Practices were born out of a project formed by writer Rick Moody, who has a new novel coming out shortly (and a music column here at The Rumpus), and Kid Millions of Oneida, Man Forever, and Soldiers of Fortune. Moody and Millions were joined by Brad Truax (Spiritualized, Interpol, Soldiers of Fortune), Richard Hoffman (Sightings), Shahin Motia (Oneida, Ex Models), David Grubbs (Gastr del Sol), Michael Foster, and Jamie Branch to become the incarnation of The Unspeakable Practices that took the project from improvisational experiments to recorded album. Stream the full debut via Brooklyn Vegan and buy it from Joyful Noise Recordings today.

And if you’re in the NYC area, come see the band play tonight at Secret Project Robot with Greg Fox and Invisible Circle!
