A new independent publishing project, Words in Light, launched last week. Founded by former Rumpus Interviews Editor and ongoing contributor Ben Pfeiffer, the site will focus on publishing diverse voices and paying contributors. Check out Words in Light’s first two published works, an essay about a Russian landlord by Kara Bollinger and a piece of fiction by Patrick Nathan titled “Parenthesis.”
Words in Light will publish longform fiction and nonfiction alongside video, audio, photography, illustration, and infographics, and every feature is a unique collaboration between writers, editors, and visual artists. You can submit your own work here. And, follow Words in Light on Twitter and on Facebook for more great stuff to come!
