Wednesday 7/6: Hear Krista Tippett, host of NPR’s On Being, read from Becoming Wise: An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living at Subtext Books. 7 p.m, free.

The Midstream Reading Series at Blue Moon Coffee Cafe features Jim Bohen, Lucia May, John Wenstrom, and Jasmin Ziegler. 7:30 p.m., free.

Thursday 7/7: IU Press and Queen’s Ferry Press present fiction writers Theodore Wheeler, Tyrone Jaeger, and Dave Madden. Magers and Quinn. 7 p.m., free.

Friday 7/8: Join MC Hyland at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts for a roundtable discussion about her new poetic research project, “The Mississippi River Walk Poems.” 6 p.m., free.

Saturday 7/9: Poet, musician, memoirist, and refugee Snedzana Zabic will be reading from her newest book, Broken Records, at Subtext Books. Following the reading, she and Heather Brown (better known as the feminist garage folk band Rent Party) will perform. 6 p.m., free.
