Childish Gambino’s new album, Awaken, My Love! is a Parliament and Sly Stone-influenced funk uppercut to the jaw. The standout track “Have Some Love” demonstrates Childish Gambino’s artistic maturation with a big, expertly produced sound that conveys an important message for the beginning of 2017.
