Here’s a thing: The Beyond the Pure Fellowship program. It’s a program for committed writers who haven’t yet received widespread recognition for their work. The award is $5,000, and the money can be used for classes, workshops, research travel, whatever. It’s closed for applications right now, but keep it on your radar.
