The Brooklyn Museum is the final stop on the world tour of David Bowie is, a retrospective exhibition of Bowie’s life and work, organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Highlights include more than sixty custom-made performance costumes, eighty-five handwritten lyric sheets, a trove of rare performance material, and art—including oil paintings by Bowie himself. 3D audio technology allows visitors to immerse themselves in Bowie’s creative process and output as they travel through the exhibition, hearing his music and words.
