Wednesday 6/20: The Random Name Poetry Series presents readings by Cynthia Arrieu-King and Diana Arterian. Hosted by David Hancock. 7:30 p.m. at Dahlak Paradise.

Thursday 6/21: Mason Jar Press presents the launch of Erin Dorney’s debut poetry collection I Am Not Famous Anymore: Poems After Shia LaBeouf. Featured readers also include Jim Warner and Gina Myers. Hosted by Jaime Fountaine. 7 p.m. at Tattooed Mom.

Philly Improv Theater will host “Pass the Mic”, a story-telling event that bridges the gap between stand-up and improvisation. Created and hosted by Sean Conroy, Jake Mattera, and Joe Tuzzi. 9 p.m. at Philly Improv Theater.

Friday 6/22: Come celebrate the release of Paul Siegell’s new book Take Out Delivery. Featuring readings by Kim Gek Lin Short, Kevin Varrone, Quincy R. Lehr, Angel Hogan, Julia Bloch, Ernest Hilbert, Tamara Oakman, and Paul Siegell. Hosted by Kathleen Volk Miller. 7 p.m. at L’Etage.

The Fuze Philly Poetry Slam will host its first “Summer Slam Tournament.” Register online to compete for first place. 8 p.m. at Studio 34 Yoga | Healing | Arts.

Sunday 6/24: Win Win Coffee Bar will host the launch for Movement for No Society, a new book examining insurgent struggles, social movements, and their paths through Philadelphia’s history. 7 p.m. at Win Win Coffee Bar.

Come celebrate the release of Sean Lynch’s new chapbook 100 Haiku.  8 p.m. at Pen & Pencil Club.
