Wednesday 8/14: Louie Kemp presents his memoir Dylan & Me: 50 Years of Adventures, a memoir on the author’s lifelong friendship with Bob Dylan. Magers & Quinn Booksellers, 7 p.m. free.

Thursday 8/15: Galit Gottlieb presents her mystery debut, Battered: A Whipped and Sipped Mystery. Once Upon a Crime, 7 p.m., free.

Friday 8/16: Louis Alemayehu performs his poems accompanied by jazz trumpeter Alex Grothe. Gandhi Mahal Restaurant, 7:30 p.m., $5–25 sliding scale.
