Wednesday 8/14: Kelechi Ubozoh and L. D Green, editors of We’ve Been Too Patient: Voices from Radical Mental Health will be hosting a night of readings by contributors Jenée Darden, Ramon(a) Rio, Sascha Altman DuBrul, and Shizue Seigel. The Bindery in San Francisco at 7:30 p.m.

Friday 8/16: Beth Macy will be discussing Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors, and the Drug Company that Addicted America. Copperfield’s Books in Petaluma at 7 p.m.

Saturday 8/17: Head over to a Napa tasting room—Kira Jane Buxton will be reading from her debut novel, Hollow Kingdom. CRU at The Annex in Napa at 4 p.m. ($40, ticket includes a copy of the book and a bottle of wine).

Sunday 8/18: Chia-Chia Lin (The Unpassing) and Vanessa Hua (A River of Stars) will be discussing their work. Books Inc. in Mountain View at 4 p.m.

Tuesday 8/20: R. H. Herron will be launching her first suspense novel, Stolen Things. She will be joined in conversation by Sophie Littlefield (That’s What Frenemies Are For). The Bindery in San Francisco at 7:30 p.m.
