Merriam Sarcia Saunders, LMFT is a psychotherapist by day, author by night and a mom in all the in-between places. Her three published titles to date include the picture books MY WHIRLING, TWIRLING MOTOR and MY WANDERING, DREAMING MIND (Magination Press) and the middle grade novel TROUBLE WITH A TINY T (Capstone), all which highlight ADHD. Merriam is the co-founder of, a blog and database of mental health and neurodiversity in children’s literature. When she’s not writing, she’s learning a new language, playing the ukulele, crocheting, and traveling. A native Bostonian, she’s currently loving up her three children, hubby and dogs in Northern California.
