Alexandra Middleton is an essayist and medical anthropologist. Her work has most recently appeared or is forthcoming in Electric Literature, The Rumpus, and Washington Square Review. Alexandra is an assistant professor at the University of Copenhagen and holds a PhD in anthropology from Princeton. She is also the founder of WITHIN, a workshop series and global community that integrates somatic techniques for writing from, through, and into the body. She lives in Malmö, Sweden with her husband and daughter.
