Anesce Dremen

Anesce Dremen is a writer often found with tea, traveling between the US, China, and India. She ran away and became estranged from her abusive family to become a first generation low income college student. Anesce has lived in Asia for 5 years and been supported by Fulbright, Gilman, and the Critical Language Scholarship. Her work is published or forthcoming in Longreads, Stillhouse Press, Business Insider, The Rumpus, and Electric Lit. Anesce has spoken at AWP, Women’s Bureau, and co-hosted an event at the United Nations. She has been quoted by DAME Magazine, The Independent, and The New York Times.
