I arrived at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop in the fall of 2009 having written only a handful of short stories in my life. Most were from high school. Most had puns for titles.
Anthony Marra is a fiction writer whose stories have appeared or are forthcoming from The Atlantic, Narrative Magazine, and The Pushcart Prize Anthology. In the fall, he will begin as a Stegner Fellow at Stanford University.
