Charity Hume’s work has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, Sky & Telescope, Ms., and HuffPost. A former director of NYU’s Graduate Creative Writing Program, she recently completed two years as an Associate Fellow in Psychoanalytic Study at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia, where she explored memory and creative writing. She is the author of Personal Effects, a completed creative nonfiction manuscript about love, exile, and the Cold War.
