Corey Duncan Stewart is a 36 year old wanna be writer working on a book living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with his fey girlfriend documenting their relationship on his blog: THE GIRL I'M DOING IN NEW YORK. He's got twenty two tattoos and has had as just as many jobs, most of which occurred over ten years in Austin, TX. where he lived before his girlfriend found him laboring fruitlessly in the hot sun and brought him to the big city.

The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere. We lift up new voices alongside those of more established writers our readers may already know and love. We want to bring new perspectives into the conversation that will make us all look deeper.
