Dana Liu is a writer and educator. She has an MA in Chinese politics and studied at the SAIS JHU-Hopkins Center in Nanjing, China. She has taught courses at Hunter College, CUNY, and National Taiwan University. Her fiction, poetry, and interviews have appeared in Hyphen, NüVoices, and The International Feminist Journal of Politics. She is currently at work on a novel. The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere.
