Donna Tallent is a lyric essayist, a trained teacher with the National Association on Mental Illness (NAMI), and a senior editor with the Southern Review of Books. In 2019, she was chosen to participate in AWP’s mentee program, Writer to Writer. She facilitates a bi-monthly generative writing and submission group and holds an MFA from Queens University of Charlotte.
