Emily J. Smith is a writer based in Brooklyn. Her debut novel, Nothing Serious, is out from William Morrow (HarperCollins). She has a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell, and an MBA from UC Berkeley. She has led teams at top tech companies and founded the dating app, Chorus.
