Francine Raften has been at the forefront of radio, television, stand-up comedy and theater for more than three decades as a producer, on-camera and talk radio host, and award-winning news anchor and reporter. Her recent stage roles include Rose in Rose Colored Glass, 
 Marguerite in Dearly Departed, Chris in Calendar Girls, Becky in Becky’s New Car, and Lucille in The Cemetery Club. Francine currently provides consulting services as a Marketing Executive with extensive expertise in media and public relations, social media, company or product launch strategy and execution, brand development and enhancement, political marketing and campaign management (27 wins out of 28 campaigns managed), and timely market and competitive intelligence.

The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere. We lift up new voices alongside those of more established writers our readers may already know and love. We want to bring new perspectives into the conversation that will make us all look deeper.
