Gale Marie Thompson is the author of Soldier On (Tupelo Press 2015) and two chapbooks, Expeditions to the Polar Seas (Sixth Finch) and If You're a Bear, I'm a Bear (H_NGM_N). Her work appears in Best New Poets 2012, Gulf Coast, Colorado Review, Guernica, bone bouquet, TIMBER, and others. She has worked on the editorial teams of jubilat, Crazyhorse, Slope Editions, and the Georgia Review. She is founding editor of Jellyfish Magazine and lives, teaches, and writes in Athens, GA. The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds.
