Gregory Holman studied French and journalism at the University of Missouri. He has worked as a magazine editor, freelance journalist, public library paraprofessional, and most recently, culture reporter. He is writing a novel, along with an essay about Proust.
This is a story about memory. About neurons misfiring, about the strange space between dream and awake, that feeling, when I’m falling asleep, of falling backwards, swinging my arms up to catch myself.
