Jason Skipper is the author of the novel Hustle, a finalist for the PEN Center USA Literary Award for Fiction. His work has appeared in numerous journals, including Hotel Amerika and Mid-American Review, and he’s received awards and recognition from Zoetrope: All-Story, Glimmer Train, and Crab Orchard Review. The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere.
