Lucy Jane Bledsoe is the author of the just-released story collection, Lava Falls, as well as the recent novels The Evolution of Love and A Thin Bright Line. Her work has won a Yaddo Fellowship, the Arts & Letters Fiction Prize, a California Arts Council Fellowship, an American Library Association Stonewall Award, and two National Science Foundation Artists & Writers Fellowships.
