Mairead Case is a working writer in Colorado. She is also a PhD student at the University of Denver, Summer Writing Program Coordinator at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, the organizer of the Dikeou Literary Series, and a writing and poetics teacher at DU, Naropa University, and the Denver Women's Correctional Facility. The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere.
