Mare Swallow

Mare Swallow is a writer, storyteller, and public speaking coach in Chicago. She is the author of 21 Ways to Engage Your Audience. The former director of the Chicago Writers Conference, she now hosts the quarterly Bad Poetry Night. She holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher college, and plays the ukulele poorly.
