Michelle Marie Wallace is an arts journalist who has written for Vice, Alpinist Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle, Narratively, Remezcla, xojane, The Tico Times, Pilates Style Magazine, SF Station,/i>, and 7 Ponds, among others. She is working on a collection of short fiction and a memoir. Michelle has an MFA from Mills College, is a recipient of a San Francisco Arts Commission Individual Artist Grant, a San Francisco Writers' Grotto Writing Fellowship, and is a VONA alum.
How do you work with a material that you don’t have trust in? I had to step away from it and find another way of articulating and I had to do it without words.
