Naomi J. Williams is the author of the novel Landfalls (FSG 2015), long-listed for the Center for Fiction First Novel Award. Her short stories have appeared in numerous literary journals and won a Pushcart Prize. Born and partly raised in Japan, Williams has a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Princeton and an M.A. in Creative Writing from UC Davis. She lives in Northern California, where she co-directs the literary series Stories on Stage Davis.
