Patricia Ann McNair's most recent book, an essay collection called And These Are the Good Times, was named a finalist for the Montaigne Medal. Her short story collection, The Temple of Air, was awarded Book of the Year by Chicago Writers Association and Southern Illinois University's Devil's Kitchen Reading Award. The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds.
