One Response to “Jeff Harris: 4,748 Self-Portraits and Counting”
Dear Jeff,
Your work and your life as represented in your work has truly affected me this morning. Thank you for your commitment and for allowing the rest of us to benefit from your story and, most emphatically, to learn from the way in which you live your life.
Among other things, I teach Vedic meditation. 345 days ago I determined to write a “Vedic Meditation Thought for the Day” and to send it out to students and anyone else who’d have it. These turned into essays, in that I seem not to be prone to pithiness. Also, I’ve been including a photo with each one, ideally that expands upon, comments on or illustrates in some way what I’ve written that day. So in some small way, I feel akin to you.
I see what you are doing here and I stand in awe and gratitude. Again, thank you.
