TUESDAY 10/30: Fiction Addiction this month features readings by Dani Shapiro, Joshua Cohen, Stefan Merrill Block, and Marie-Helene Bertino. 2A upstairs, 8pm, free.

THURSDAY 11/1: HousingWorks hosts the Manhattan launch of Jami Attenberg’s The Middlesteins. Gabrielle Bell, Jason Diamond, Rachel Fershleiser, Emily Gould, Eliot Glazer, Maris Kreizman, Beth Lisick, Rosie Schaap, and Ben Schwartz will share stories. 7pm, free.

Community Bookstore hosts Paul Aster and Don DeLillo. 7:30 pm, free for CBE members, $10 suggested donation for non-members.

FRIDAY 11/2: Mat Johnson reads from Pym: A Novel and Dana Spiotta reads from Stone Arabia at the Lillian Vernon Creative Writers House. 5pm, free.
