We just received copies of our November Rumpus Book Club selection (and the first-ever publication from Rumpus Paper Internets): Rumpus Women Volume I: Personal Essays by Women edited by Julie Greicius & Elissa Bassist.
We’re obviously very excited. Here’s a sneak peek of the book:
Editor (and roast beef sandwich) sold separately.
Seriously though, these books look fantastic. If you want to get an early copy now would be a perfect time to join The Rumpus Book Club. To learn more about the collection click here.

I dunno; juxtaposing rare meat with anything “women” is kinda skating on real thin ice.
Picky, picky, I know. It’s just got some bad history, is all I’m sayin.
It wasn’t rare meat. I’m pretty sure it was medium.
Even worse juxtaposition, given what you’re now insinuating about age and “done-ness”.
=)
No skimping on the roast beef in that sandwich!
well, I guess we are just grateful it wasn’t “chopped liver”. but, you would never be so literal (only joking)

I don’t think he’s angry, I just think he’s got a mouthful of medium beef.
I guess I was hoping, in the interest of fairness, you wouldn’t be wearing pants.
