6 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week

We’ve mentioned the size of Rumpus Book Club pick The Instructions a few times.

But how long did it take author Adam Levin to write the behemoth book? “I worked on average six hours a day, seven days a week […] I took one week of vacation a year.” And how long did he keep that grueling schedule? Oh, only a measly nine years.
