Tax Day Comes Early

David Foster Wallace’s The Pale King was supposed to hit stores on April 15th (Tax Day), but many online outlets are already shipping the book, a fact which is pissing off many a bookstore.

I saw The Pale King at the Strand in NYC yesterday. I held it in my hands! So many feelings happened at once. Naturally, I wet myself a little. But to be fair, I was looking for the restroom when I stumbled upon the book first.
