Last month I announced my candidacy for Office of the President of the United States of America. Today I would like to introduce you to my Vice Presidential running mate, Ms. Elizabeth Huggins. Elizabeth hails from Iowa where she is a teacher. With my aged wisdom and city dwelling lifestyle, and her youthful optimism and Middle America perspective, we’re sure to make excellent leaders as the Wilson Administration!

You got my vote, brother Wilson. I work at a doggie daycare, so if the Wilson Administration needs some more cute dogs for its campaign let me know and I’d be glad to smuggle them your way. I could get you this miniature weenier dog named Quickie that would definitely get you some votes. The girls love him.

Thank you so much for offering your assistance. I’m in particular need of a dog to protect me from some of the neighborhood kids who think it’s funny to leave marbles on the sidewalk and watch me stumble. This dog should also be capable of protecting me from assassination attempts once I am elected President.

Mrs Huggins is quite personable, with nice white hair. And she is small. I’ve always said a vice-president should be small, and, of course, white.
