Yearbook #2: Alysia Abbott

By

In Yearbook #2, author Alysia Abbott talks about having her book Fairyland adapted into a film by Sofia Coppola and Andrew Durham. She also discusses The Recollectors, a storytelling and community project that gives the children of parents who died of AIDS a chance to share their stories. A historian of sorts, Abbott describes how upsetting and stupid it can be to pour through your old journals.
