Springfield himself appeared in a skit on Jimmy Kimmel Live to tell the origin story behind the song that has launched a million karaoke-involved romantic gestures and romcom montages. Killers drummer Ronnie Vannucci plays Jessie and Springfield plays himself in a pretty incredible tracksuit. Watch the video after the jump.
