Saturday 7/29: Abby Cooper will be presenting her new book Bubbles. Barnes & Noble Roseville, 2 p.m., free.

Here’s a thing: If you’re looking for something upper-Midwest to read, look no further: Great Lakes Reads is a selection of Great Lakes-centric books that connect the lake to the local community, and the books are all written by writers who reside in the area they highlight. Kinda rad!
