Tuesday 4/2: Celebrated Minnesota-born artist Duncan Hannah will present his rollicking memoir of the 70s art scene, Twentieth Century Boy. Magers & Quinn Booksellers, 7 p.m., free.

Wednesday 4/3: The Speculations Reading Series continues this month with Rob Callahan reading from his work. DreamHaven Books & Comics, 6:30 p.m., free.

Enjoy an evening celebrating Su Smallen Love’s new book, The Memoir of Mona Lisa and Other Poems. Dance filmmakers Becky Heist, Christopher Watson, and Judith Howard with Leila Awadallah will premiere three new films, and Su Love will read the poems that inspired the films. All artists will discuss their creative process of making art from art. Bryant-Lake Bowl & Theater, 7 p.m., $6–$15.

Fady Joudah will read his poetry and explore the concept of “origins” through the lens of poetry as part of the university’s Sacred Arts Festival.
