Sunday 12/1: Artist and author Tanya Zabinski presents Peace, Love, Action! Everyday Acts of Goodness from A to Z, a book for young readers. Birchbark Books, 3 p.m., free.

Monday 12/2: TakeAction Minnesota and Women for Political Change present Repro Zine Night, an evening of zine making and sharing with a focus on reproductive rights. Moon Palace Books, 6 p.m., free.

Button Poetry’s December show features Daniel Monday. Park Square Theatre, 7:30 p.m., $12 in advance/$15 at the door.

Tuesday 12/3: Kelly Barnhill, Adam Regn Arvidson, Lindsay Nielsen, Megan Kaplan, Morgan Grayce Willow, Jason Albert, and Eric Dregni will read from their pieces in Under Purple Skies: The Minneapolis Anthology. The Irrevrent Bookworm, 7 p.m. free.

Wednesday 12/4: Katie Vagnino presents Masters of Poetry: Mary Oliver, the final class in her series. Boneshaker Books, 6 p.m., $30 (or pay what you can).

Thursday 12/5: Warren Woessner presents his new collection Exit Sky, with guests Lynette Reini-Grandell, Jim Lenfestey, and Tim Nolan. SubText Books, 7 p.m., free.

Friday 12/6: Bao Phi will read from his two picture books, A Different Pond and My Footprints. Winding Trail Books, 5:30 p.m., free.

Saturday 12/7: Shannon Gibney and Kao Kalia Yang present What God Is Honored Here?: Writings on Miscarriage and Infant Loss by and for Native Women and Women of Color, joined by Dania Rajendra, Taiyon Coleman, and Catherine Squires. East Side Freedom Library, 7 p.m., free.
