Janet Sternburg

Janet Sternburg is the author of two memoirs at the intersection of personal experience and neuroscience, most recently WHITE MATTER: A Memoir of Family and Medicine (Hawthorne Books), and PHANTOM LIMB (American Lives Series, University of Nebraska Press). Other books include OPTIC NERVE: Photopoems (Red Hen Press) and the two volumes of THE WRITER ON HER WORK (W.W. Norton).
