Jason Polan is an artist living in New York. His work has been exhibited all over the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia. He is a member of The 53rd Street Biological Society and Taco Bell Drawing Club. Polan is currently drawing every person in New York. Polan's work has appeared in The New York Times, ARTnews, McSweeney's, and The New Yorker. He has collaborated with Levi's, West Elm, Jack Spade, and The Ford Foundation. He has made over 112 books. Polan is from Michigan.

The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere. We lift up new voices alongside those of more established writers our readers may already know and love. We want to bring new perspectives into the conversation that will make us all look deeper.
