Luiza Flynn-Goodlett is the author of three chapbooks, most recently Harm's Way forthcoming from dancing girl press. In 2018, she was a finalist for both the Prairie Schooner Book Prize and the Berkshire Prize for a First or Second Book of Poetry from Tupelo Press. Her poetry can be found in Third Coast, Granta, Quarterly West, DIAGRAM, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. She serves as editor-in-chief of Foglifter Journal and lives in sunny Oakland, California.

The Rumpus publishes original fiction, poetry, literary humor writing, comics, essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors and artists of all kinds. Our mostly volunteer-run magazine strives to be a platform for risk-taking voices and writing that might not find a home elsewhere. We lift up new voices alongside those of more established writers our readers may already know and love. We want to bring new perspectives into the conversation that will make us all look deeper.
