Sarah Marshall is a graduate student currently pursuing an MFA in fiction and an MA in English at Portland State University, where she also teaches undergraduate composition. Her other obsessions include Tonya Harding, Miss America, and ephemera of the American Presidency, and she is a frequent contributor to the Hairpin and the Awl.
