Its success is due to its “whatever it takes” methodology, and also its top tier educators who are selected from the top 10% of Finland’s graduates. Proof of Finland’s exceptional educational technique also comes in the form of test scores. Finnish youth proved to be the top young readers world according to the Programme for International Student Assessment in 2000 and are continuing to secure top rankings annually.
