Reading Chairs

By

Luckily, there’s a website devoted to fancy chairs. If that’s not enough, in anticipation for the Salone del Mobile furniture fair, fellow bookworms across the world wide web have been marking off their favorite reader-friendly models.

Hey book lovers, please take a seat. And if you’d like, please take a seat with books inside of it. The annual Salone del Mobile furniture fair begins in Milan next week, and to launch the coverage of the event, the Atlantic Cities website has a list of “10 chair designs for people who really love their books.”

See the brightly colored sunflower chair Hector Tobar favors in his discussion of the Salone, or peruse the other nine here. “Cave Book Case Seating” looks like a nightmare, but Adachi’s tidy design offers readers the spot to enjoy their shelved libraries.
