I would never call SE “mildly” insane.
Boo, you made me go to Perez Hilton’s site. Sad start to the day.
Dang, they scooped Nikki Finke. I sent the item to her tip line after the tweet made it a little more “official” than the Book Club whisper, in hopes of garnering The Rumpus a bit of “ink”. (I felt guilty afterward because, really, who am I? and maybe you guys wouldn’t want that kind of thing done w/o your ok.) Anyway, it’s great to see this kind of exposure. I truly believe TAD deserves to be read by a huge audience. It’s such a powerful and moving book.
Congratulations, again, on this neat development.
Well, I *tried* to go to Perez Hilton but my iron-girdled computer advised me in big red flashing letters that if I did so, my computer would probably implode. Pity.
HuffPo Books section now links to Observer piece, too.
Suffice it to say, Nikki Finke (and, maybe more importantly, her readers) knows your name now. Never a bad thing. =)
