The story of Toyo Shibata, a 99-year-old Japanese poet whose first collection, Don’t be Too Frustrated, is a bestseller. The success of Shibata’s work is all the more fascinating, given that she “picked up her pen at the age of 92.”

Isaac Fitzgerald has been a firefighter, worked on a boat, and was once given a sword by a king, thereby accomplishing three out of five of his childhood goals.
