Can’t remember this book, this a description of what happened between the guy and girl in the book:

Yeah but basically what happened is that he convinced her to go talk to her mom and she haven’t visited her since she died and so he offers or go with her and they go together but when they get to the graveyard she pretends she doesn’t know where her moms grave is so she tells him to go one way while she goes the other way, the thing is she already knows where it is and she didn’t tell him cuz she wants to be alone and she’s afraid she’ll look stupid talking to a grave. She even says that to the grave. When she starts talking, she realizes that she’s talking a lot. It gets easier for her to express her feelings. Then she gets up and the guy finds her and before they go he ask if he can speak to her and she’s like sure. Then he goes on about how she is and stuff.

  2. Trying to find a recent (maybe up to a three-year-old) novel I saw at Barnes & Noble in which a manhunt is on for a killer in Europe. The hunt is occasionally thwarted by bureaucracy. The book was supposedly a bestseller in Europe. The author is European. The title was a woman’s first name. The woman is the killer who is killing the men who used and abused her.
