Sometimes the movies we’ve never heard of already have sequels that we also haven’t heard of. And as it turns out, these film follow-ups are very much pre-meditated from the get-go. Before certain blockbusters even enter the radar of their audiences, their sequel is already in the works!
Though it’s no surprise that big shot film studios “don’t bankroll individual films – they green-light franchises,” to insure that films are follow-up-able, it’s still a little disappointing. Alas, “All we can ask you to do is avoid any films that might have a franchise in mind, and eventually, with a hive mind, nudge the trend back to character-driven, stand alone films.”
